Baseball Recap: Bucyrus Comes Up Short

Bucyrus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colonel Crawford Eagles. The Redmen were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bucyrus saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Ross, who went 1-for-4 with one run. Paten Deskins also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Bucyrus' loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Colonel Crawford, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-7.

While Bucyrus had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
