Minooka faced Marist in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Indians fell 2-0 to the RedHawks. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14.

Kendall Kozak paced Minooka's offense, picking up five kills. Kozak got some help from Kennedy Walker and her six assists.

Minooka's defeat dropped their record down to 23-11. As for Marist, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season.

Minooka will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Plainfield East at 5:30 p.m. Marist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
