May River entered their tilt with Beaufort on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Beaufort Eagles 62-29. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Beaufort's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Amani Cleckley, who posted seven points, and Jason Prayer, who had four points and six boards. The dominant performance also gave Prayer a new career-high in field goal percentage (67%). Percival Davis also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

May River's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Beaufort, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. May River will square off against Bluffton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bluffton will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something May River surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beaufort, they will take on Hilton Head Island at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
