Softball Recap: Slaughter Community Charter Knights vs. West Feliciana Saints

Slaughter Community Charter's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the West Feliciana Saints get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their one-run performance the game before.

Caroline Smith made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. Smith was also big at the plate, scoring a run.

In other batting news, Slaughter Community Charter let Conlee Flotte and AC Chaney run wild. Flotte scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2, while Chaney scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
