Softball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Comes Up Short

St. Joseph Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 13-3 to the La Jolla Country Day Torreys. That's two games in a row now that the Crusaders have lost by exactly ten runs.

St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for La Jolla Country Day, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Academy will take on Bonsall at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Jolla Country Day, they will challenge Maranatha Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Torreys' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season.
