Baseball Recap: Warwick Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Warwick had lost three games at home, but after bumping their record up to 4-13 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Solanco Golden Mules. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Golden Mules on April 14th, they had to take a 4-0 defeat.

As for Solanco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Solanco's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Herr, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Lucas Vilk was another, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Coming up, Warwick will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Muhlenberg at 4:15 p.m. As for Solanco, they are taking a road trip to face off against Cocalico at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
