Basketball Recap: Plainville Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Plainville can now relate to. They took a 38-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Windsor Panthers on Tuesday.

East Windsor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyelah Smith, who posted 13 points in addition to six assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Winner, who went 6-for-15 on her way to 13 points and eight rebounds.

Plainville's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for East Windsor, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Plainville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Windsor, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-30 defeat against Windham on the 6th.
