Soccer Recap: Van Nuys Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Van Nuys's offense. They fell just short of the Reseda Regents by a score of 1-0 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Wolves have lost by just one goal.

Van Nuys' defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-3. As for Reseda, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-3.

Van Nuys will be playing at home against Sylmar at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sylmar will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Van Nuys surely won't give up without a fight. As for Reseda, they will venture away from home to square off against Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Kennedy's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
