Adding to the longest winning streak in Hi-Plains this week, Meade beat Decatur Community 49-14. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Buffaloes.

Meade took down the Red Devils 49-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jett Little threw for 37 yards and ran for 163 yards in the win.

Little was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 163 yards on 23 carries as Scott Moshier's team lost to Oakley. Morgan Olvera also contributed to the rushing game with 149 yards on the ground.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Wildcats' Alex Gomez and Hurn have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-11 quarterback Gomez has thrown for 2,107 yards this season, while Hurn has 46 catches for 1,261 yards. Lakin's Gage McAtee leads the league in rushing yards with 1,388.

The Buffaloes made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,734 from 4,318. The improvement was the result of a 49-14 victory over Decatur Community last week.
