Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ayanna Anspach and Adriana Marzullo Lead Quince Orchard to Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Quince Orchard faced off against Northwest on Tuesday. The Quince Orchard Cougars walked away with a 46-35 victory over the Northwest Jaguars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-11 back in January.

Quince Orchard was led to victory by Adriana Marzullo and Ayanna Anspach. Marzullo posted nine points and four steals, while Anspach scored 14 points and seven rebounds. Marzullo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Lena Wolle was another key player, putting up five points.

Quince Orchard's record is now 10-11. As for Northwest, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Coming up, Quince Orchard is taking a road trip to take on Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwest, they will square off against Northwood on Friday.
