Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. Lanier

The Jefferson Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Lanier Voks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson will be strutting in after a win while Lanier will be coming in after a loss.

Jefferson is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Fox Tech with a sharp 10-3 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Jefferson.

Meanwhile, Lanier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to Fox Tech.

Lanier's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Jefferson, their win bumped their record up to 4-7-3.

Jefferson got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in January against Lanier by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
