The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Admirals at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Meanwhile, Gulfport faced Petal in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Admirals and the Panthers were almost perfectly matched up, but the Admirals suffered a 25-24 defeat. The loss continues a trend for the Admirals in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Pascagoula will need to focus on slowing down Cooper Crosby, one of several Gulfport players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 78 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 85 yards and one TD. Another player making a difference was Parker Nettles, who threw for 192 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Gulfport now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pascagoula, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
