Baseball Preview: Shelby County Wildcats vs. Minor Tigers

The Shelby County Wildcats will take on the Minor Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Shelby County challenged Briarwood Christian on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 14-4 to the Lions. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shelby County saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Pennington, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last contest, Minor made sure to put some runs up on the board against Parker on Thursday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Thundering Herd with a sharp 16-5 win.
