Volleyball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

Plainview lost against Lutheran-Northeast last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

Riley Miller paced Plainview's offense, picking up nine kills. Miller got some help from Mallory Mauer and her 21 assists. Emma Sauser and Pressley Alexander kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Plainview's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Lutheran-Northeast, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 10-19 record.

Plainview has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hartington-Newcastle on the 18th. Lutheran-Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
