Basketball Game Preview: Cigarroa Toros vs. Rio Grande City Rattlers

Cigarroa and Rio Grande City are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Cigarroa Toros will be playing at home against the Rio Grande City Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cigarroa came up short against Palmview on Tuesday, falling 57-36.

Meanwhile, Rio Grande City didn't have too much trouble with Roma on Friday as they won 41-24. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rattlers.

Rio Grande City's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Cigarroa, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-13.

Cigarroa was able to grind out a solid victory over Rio Grande City when the teams last played back in November of 2024, winning 46-37. Does Cigarroa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rio Grande City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
