On Friday Harlie Dirda pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort marked the fewest hits Dirda has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than one walk. This year, she has an ERA of 4.32 over 11.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Dirda and Laurel Highlands will be playing at home against Uniontown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Red Raiders thanks in part to Dirda: she scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
