Kailyn Reeder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.
At the plate, Kirsten Aldridge was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Margaret Jenkins, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Lake Region hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in four consecutive matches.

Bidline Augusma was a standout: she got on base in five of her six plate appearances with six stolen bases, four runs, and one double. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Jasha Morris was another key player, getting on base in five of her seven plate appearances with eight stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
Lake Region's win bumped their record up to 22-3. As for Jones, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
Jones' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Lake Region has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10 strikeouts per game.
