            Softball Recap: Midway Vikings vs. Butler Bears        
        
		
        
        
            Monday just wasn't the day for Midway's offense. They lost  15-0 to the Butler Bears on Monday. The Vikings' defeat continues a  trend for the  squad, making it three in a row.
Midway now  has a losing record of 9-10. As for Butler, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midway will host Rich Hill  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.07  runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Butler, they will challenge Hume at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 10.9  runs per game this season.
