Soccer Recap: Marian Catholic Takes a Loss

Marian Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Shenandoah Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 6th.

Marian Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Shenandoah Valley, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marian Catholic is set to challenge their familiar foe Tri-Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Shenandoah Valley will face off against rival Tamaqua at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
