Basketball Game Preview: Madison Bulldogs vs. Old Orchard Beach Seagulls

The Madison Bulldogs will face off against the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Madison came up short against Spruce Mountain and fell 54-42. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Phoenix recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Old Orchard Beach came tearing into last Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They slipped by the Hawks 59-58.

Old Orchard Beach's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Madison beat Old Orchard Beach 54-46 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Madison repeat their success, or does Old Orchard Beach have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
