Kilgore had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Cardinals are ranked 574th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
