It's playoff time, and DeSoto Central had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Oxford Chargers by a score of 4-0 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Wednesday.

Charlotte Mostert and Katelyn Short did most of the damage at the plate: Mostert went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double, while Short went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Maddie Hudson was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

The win made it two in a row for DeSoto Central and bumps their season record up to 26-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Oxford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-10.

As of now, neither DeSoto Central nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
