Softball Preview: Cherokee Braves vs. Robbinsville Black Knights

The Cherokee Braves will head out on the road to square off against the Robbinsville Black Knights at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Cherokee's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Asheville with a sharp 18-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cherokee.

Meanwhile, Robbinsville entered their tilt with Hiwassee Dam with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Eagles 14-2.

Suri (money) Watty was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoie Shuler, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
