Volleyball Recap: Northpoint Christian's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Northpoint Christian lost against Jackson back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fighting Indians.

Northpoint Christian was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23.

Chrissy Nolen paced Northpoint Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Nolen got some help from Sarah Johnson and her 14 assists.

Northpoint Christian's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2. As for Jackson, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Northpoint Christian will host Arlington at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jackson, they will head out on the road to challenge Poplar Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
