Volleyball Game Preview: Cathedral Catholic Dons vs. Coronado Islanders + How To Watch

The Cathedral Catholic Dons will venture away from home to challenge the Coronado Islanders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cathedral Catholic not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 9th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Academy of Our Lady of Peace 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dons.

Cathedral Catholic not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Academy of Our Lady of Peace between 14 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-14, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Coronado beat Scripps Ranch 3-1 on Friday. The Islanders haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Scripps Ranch scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Cathedral Catholic's record is now 24-7. As for Coronado, their record now sits at 31-6.
