Softball Recap: Tri-County Comes Up Short

Tri-County and Almond-Bancroft squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Tri-County had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 11-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 15-0 defeat back in April.

Tri-County has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13-1 record this season. As for Almond-Bancroft, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-6-1.

As of now, neither Tri-County nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
