Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brya Appelhans and Halle Littau Lead Balko/Forgan to Victory

Balko/Forgan was handed a 31-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Kremlin-Hillsdale Broncs, sneaking past 44-42.

Balko/Forgan was led to victory by Halle Littau and Brya Appelhans. Littau almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds, while Appelhans dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 boards. Littau has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Tenley Mulbery, who posted six points.

Balko/Forgan has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Kremlin-Hillsdale, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Balko/Forgan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-22 victory against Rolla on the 14th. Kremlin-Hillsdale has also already played their next game (against Medford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
