Softball Recap: Hillsdale Takes a Loss

If Hillsdale was feeling good fresh off their 12-2 takedown of Woodside on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fighting Knights fell just short of the King's Academy Knights by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Hillsdale's loss dropped their record down to 14-9-1. As for King's Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-7.

Looking ahead, Hillsdale will square off against Aragon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for King's Academy, they will challenge Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
