Baseball Recap: Nitro Takes a Loss

Nitro lost to Buffalo back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bison. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nitro's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Buffalo, they moved to 16-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Nitro will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Buffalo, they will take on Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
