Basketball Recap: Alto Takes a Loss

Alto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Douglass Indians, falling 68-15. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1352nd, while the Indians are ranked 310th).

Alto's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Douglass, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.

Alto will take on Cushing in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Douglass and Mt. Enterprise will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
