Soccer Recap: Westlake Comes Up Short

Westlake came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the American Fork Cavemen. Westlake have struggled against American Fork recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Westlake's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for American Fork, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westlake will challenge Lone Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lone Peak will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Westlake surely won't give up without a fight. As for American Fork, they will take on Lehi at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
