Softball Recap: Waterloo East Takes a Loss

Waterloo East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-0 to the Ames Little Cyclones. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Little Cyclones this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-5 on Wednesday.

Waterloo East's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Ames, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Waterloo East didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Ottumwa on the 5th. As for Ames, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-0 victory against Des Moines East on the 5th.
