Baseball Recap: Dickinson Comes Up Short

Dickinson lost to Hoboken back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams came up short against the Redwings, falling 20-5. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dickinson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zayden Luciano, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Luciano has become a key player for the Rams: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 2-4 otherwise. Malehqi Washington also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Dickinson now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Hoboken, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Dickinson is taking a road trip to challenge Roselle Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hoboken, they will take on West Orange at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Redwings' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mountaineers have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
