It's playoff time, and Northeastern had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Whiteville Wolfpack by a score of 24-14 on Friday. The victory was just business as usual for the Eagles, who after 15 games remain undefeated this season.

Trevaris Jones continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 224 yards and one touchdown.

Northeastern wouldn't let Whiteville keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Northeastern can thank Carren Armstrong and Mekkhei Williams for forcing both of them.

Northeastern pushed their record up to 15-0 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for Whiteville, they moved to 13-2 with that loss, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Northeastern will head out to take on Monroe at 6:30 p.m. on December 21st. One thing working in Monroe's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. Whiteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
