Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 25-0 to the Scio Loggers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Loggers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 32-1 back in April.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Scio, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-1.

Jefferson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 15-0 defeat against Dayton on the 15th. As for Scio, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-2 victory against Taft on the 16th.
