Baseball Recap: King Comes Up Short

King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They came up short against the Austin Prep Cougars, falling 9-1.

King's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Austin Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King will welcome Hopkins at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Austin Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount St. Charles Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
