Soccer Recap: Potomac Find Success

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Potomac and Surrattsville, and Potomac kept the tradition alive. The Wolverines came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Potomac have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Surrattsville, too.

Potomac hit Surrattsville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carlos Zurita, Dilan Bonilla Torres, and Denis Carbajal.

Potomac's win bumped their record up to 2-0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Potomac will challenge rival Crossland at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Potomac's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Meanwhile, Surrattsville is set to square off against their familiar foe Fairmont Heights at 3:00 p.m. on the 22nd. The match will also give Surrattsville their first taste of in-conference action this season.
