Basketball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge suffered their biggest loss since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Kell Longhorns, falling 71-45. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Longhorns are ranked 18th).

Cambridge dropped their record down to 13-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Kell, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Cambridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kell, they will challenge Westminster at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Westminster's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
