Football Recap: Reese Gonzales' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northwestern over Seneca

It was a proper cat-fight when Northwestern took on Seneca on Friday. The Wildcats took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost five in a row.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reese Gonzales, who picked up 107 receiving yards and two TDs. Brody Bickenheuser handled things on the ground, rushing for 115 yards.

Northwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Seneca, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.
