Basketball Recap: Clark County Comes Up Short

Clark County suffered their closest defeat since December 20, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Monroe City Panthers by a score of 53-51. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Panthers are ranked 57th).

This is the second loss in a row for Clark County and nudges their season record down to 8-10. As for Monroe City, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2.
