Soccer Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Riverbend Academy

Calvary Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Riverbend Academy Warriors on Monday, falling 9-1. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Calvary Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 10-2 loss against Polk Christian Prep on the 4th. As for Riverbend Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southland Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
