Softball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton lost against Chelsea back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redwolves took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Redwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clinton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Calli Kruger, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Chelsea, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clinton will host Onsted at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chelsea, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Divine Child at 4:00 p.m.
