North Knox had won six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 7-0 to make it seven. They came out on top against the Evansville Christian Eagles by a score of 54-45. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

North Knox had a senior duo take command as Lexi Primus went 5-for-9 on her way to 15 points and six boards and Baylee McClure posted ten points along with six assists and six rebounds. Primus is crushing it when it comes to points: she's scored at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season. Caroline Yenne was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

North Knox was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Evansville Christian only racked up four.

Having lost for the first time this season, Evansville Christian fell to 4-1. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Evansville Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Hall, who shot 54% from the field to rack up 15 points in addition to six boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Hannah Higgs, who scored 14 points and six steals.

North Knox has already played their next game, a 63-33 victory against Bedford North Lawrence on the 1st. As for Evansville Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-45 win against Wood Memorial on the 2nd.
