Ridgefield came out on top against Washougal on Wednesday thanks in part to Madeline Bruguier's efforts. Bruguier wasn't messing around, pitching 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with two or fewer walks.

Coming up, Bruguier and Ridgefield will head out to face off against Columbia River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spudders got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rapids thanks in part to Bruguier: she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits.
