Volleyball Recap: Jillian Deno's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Harrison over Brownsburg

Harrison lost against Brownsburg back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Raiders fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jillian Deno, who had four digs and two aces. Kaylee Swihart was another key player, getting nine digs and one assist.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brownsburg, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Cathedral on the 16th. As for Brownsburg, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Chesterton on the 16th.
