Softball Recap: Economics & Finance Comes Up Short

Economics & Finance was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of NEST+m. Economics & Finance was not able to make up for their defeat to NEST+m from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Economics & Finance's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for NEST+m, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Economics & Finance will challenge Careers in Television & Film at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Careers in Television & Film has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.25 runs per game on average), something Economics & Finance will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for NEST+m, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Information Tech at 4:00 p.m.
