Volleyball Recap: Mt. Carmel Comes Up Short

Mt. Carmel and La Jolla squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mt. Carmel had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Vikings. The Sundevils' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Mt. Carmel was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-16, 25-19.

Mt. Carmel's defeat dropped their record down to 14-22. As for La Jolla, they moved to 16-22 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Mt. Carmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for La Jolla, they have already played their next game, a 3-2 win against San Marcos on the 8th.
