Baseball Game Preview: Seven Hills Stingers vs. Blanchester Wildcats

The Seven Hills Stingers will head out to square off against the Blanchester Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Blanchester took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Seven Hills, who comes in off a win.

While Seven Hills' victory against Clark Montessori wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Stingers had just enough and edged out the Cougars 3-2 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Stingers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won seven in a row.

The team relied heavily on Matthew Wiles, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles, one triple, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Hamon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Blanchester couldn't beat Loveland on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Wildcats fell 8-5 to the Tigers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blanchester saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Short, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Blanchester's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Seven Hills, they now also have a winning record of 7-6.
