Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Meridian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the King's Way Christian Knights 49-7. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Meridian's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for King's Way Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meridian will square off against Mt. Baker at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Trojans their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for King's Way Christian, they will take on Stevenson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
