It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Regents Knights had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They snuck past the Lions with a 74-70 win. The win was just what Regents needed coming off of a 83-57 defeat in their prior contest.

Paul Fedd was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last four games he's played. Hudson Powell was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Harlin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. Harlin is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for four games straight. Another player making a difference was Noah Iommi, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.

Regents has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-12 record this season. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 28-10.

Regents will take on Midland Christian at TBD on Friday. Midland Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Regents surely won't give up without a fight. Grapevine Faith Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
